Paramedic Associates provides responsive, community-based care on behalf of general practices, private specialists, and other community health providers. Our skilled team of paramedics and registered nurses can offer home visits, providing detailed clinical assessments and comprehensive treatment / medical care for a variety of conditions, such as:

• Dehydration 
• Nausea and vomiting 
• Migraine
• Infections
• Acute pain
• Wound care
• Minor injuries

Our team liaises closely with the referring clinician to determine the next steps including follow-up care, and any prescription or blood tests that may be required. To ensure continuity of care, our team sends an electronic summary to the patient and referring clinician. 

We can also provide planned in-home care on behalf of general practices and other health providers, such as iron infusions and bone strengthening infusions (Aclasta / Zoledronic Acid).

If you need urgent medical care and are unable to get a doctor's appointment or cannot travel to a medical centre, Paramedic Associates can provide care to you in the comfort of your own home or hotel room without a referral from another health professional.

Paramedic Associates is a registered ACC provider, including being able to lodge your ACC claim and deliver subsidised treatment.

Please note: our services are privately funded, with home consultation visits from $150.

Paramedic Associates provides services to Police, including short-notice phlebotomy (blood test / collection) when an evidential blood test is requested, and providing urgent medical assessment and care for people in custody.

Paramedic Associates has partnered with the psychiatry team at the South Island Ketamine Clinic to deliver community based ketamine treatment for the management of specific mental health conditions such as treatment resistant depression. 

In collaboration with specialist doctors, Paramedic Associates offers emergency medication kits containing pre-prescribed medications. These kits are designed for people who live, work, or play in remote or challenging environments. They are also perfect for those who wish to be prepared for natural disasters or major emergencies when medical care might be delayed or unavailable. Our medication kits ensure you receive the necessary care during urgent situations when traditional healthcare services are out of reach.
