Need a medical certificate to apply for or renew your commercial or heavy vehicle licence? We provide NZTA-approved DL9 medical assessments at a time and place that suits you. Our experienced health professionals ensure a thorough yet efficient service to help keep you on the road. We can invoice some employers (such as Fire and Emergency NZ) directly.

Prefer to receive your prescribed treatments at home? We can administer  prescribed IV infusions (such as iron and Aclasta) following referral from your GP or specialist, as well as elective IV wellness infusions.

Feeling unwell and need time off work? After a brief Telehealth consultation, we can issue an off work certificate for you to provide to your employer.

We offer a range of vaccinations delivered at your home or workplace for maximum convenience.

We offer mobile blood tests for people who prefer not to travel to a lab. Whether the tests have been requested by your GP or specialist, or you're ordering your own tests via BODYiQ, we can perform your blood test in a familiar setting and deliver it directly to the laboratory.

Cost: $100 (includes delivery to lab)

Need a 12-lead ECG requested by your GP, specialist, or insurer — or just want reassurance? We can perform an ECG in your home or workplace and email a high-resolution copy to you or your healthcare provider.

Cost: $75

Need expert wound care / district nursing services, without the wait or the clinic? Our team provides professional in-home wound assessment, cleaning, dressing, and short-term follow-up when needed.

We treat a range of acute wounds, including surgical wounds, minor burns, skin tears, and infected wounds. We also offer removal of sutures (stitches) or staples following surgery or injury. Our service is ideal for one-off or short-term wound care, with clinical documentation available to share with your GP or specialist.

Cost: From $80 per treatment session (varies depending on wound complexity and dressings used)

Worried about an older family member? We provide comprehensive in-home social and functional assessments to help identify frailty, falls risk, and home support needs.

Unlike in a 15-minute GP appointment, we take the time to assess mobility, falls hazards, medications, home layout, and support needs. A detailed report is then shared with the person and their GP or specialist to support ongoing care planning.

We can also make referrals to local health and social services such as falls prevention programmes, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and NASC.

Before you dive, ensure you’re medically fit for the water. Paramedic Associates provides recreational dive medicals. 

Your assessment includes a review of your health history and a focused physical examination. We can complete and sign the PADI Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire, providing a medical clearance accepted by most recreational dive operators in New Zealand.

Please note: our recreational dive medicals are not suitable for commercial or occupational divers, who must be assessed by a Designated Diving Doctor.

Preparing for an Outward Bound course? Paramedic Associates provides Outward Bound medical assessments to ensure you’re ready for the physical and environmental challenges of the programme.

Your assessment includes a comprehensive health review, physical examination, and completion of the official Outward Bound Medical Form, as required by Outward Bound New Zealand. 

We assess cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and general fitness, and can coordinate additional investigations (such as ECG or spirometry) if indicated.

Paramedic Associates provides Executive Health Checks for busy corporate professionals seeking a clear, proactive understanding of their health and future risk. Designed for convenience and confidentiality, assessments can be completed in your home or office, with minimal disruption to your day.

Each assessment includes a detailed review of medical history and medications, and a comprehensive physical examination. Measurements include height, weight, body mass index (BMI), and blood pressure, along with a 12-lead ECG and baseline blood tests.  Where clinically indicated, we can arrange specialist tests such as CT calcium score and advanced lipid (cholesterol) testing. You will receive a personalised written report summarising your results and outlining personalised recommendations.
