Our dedicated Nurses and Paramedics, work with you and your patient to deliver safe and effective treatment in the safety and comfort of your patients own home.
We start with a clinical assessment of your patient, including Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, SPO2, BGL, Urine Analysis, PUQE-24 Score, and general hydration assessment.
If requested, we can take bloods and send to the Lab of your choice
Our team have extensive experience in venipuncture on critical and dehydrated patients, giving them the edge over others in gaining IV access in dehydrated or difficult patient.
We carry metaclopramide, ondansetron and cyclazine, and can either administer inline with your standing order, or inline with our clinical governance.
At the completion of each treatment session, you will receive a detailed summary of treatment provided for your follow up.
following the treatment, we provide a 60min observation period to ensure no adversity.
Our goal is to deliver care in accordance with the lead HCP, ensuring you have full oversight over your patients journey. This requires you document clearly on your referral what medications / treatment you wish your patient to receive. However, with have our own in-house clinical governance structure, and if you wish, can manage within our clinical governance framework. Our team to work to protocol based on the Canterbury Health Pathways protocol and the Guidelines of SOMANZ.
Our service is privately funded. Options include charging the patient directly, or charging the referring HCP. When charging the HCP, and the HCP retains clinical governance for the treatment, you may be eligible (if geographically applicable) to claim reimbursement for our services via Acute Demand Services (see here). Our fee for the full service above is $300 + GST (this includes consumables), and a treatment / observation time of 2 - 2.5 hours.
Our team of Registered Health Care Professionals are trained to the highest standard, carry equipment to manage any eventuality, including medications for the management for allergic reaction, airway management and cardiac arrest.
